The Dunedin Senior Mens XI took out the annual Stewart McKnight fixture against rivals Otago Country November 27th at Oturehua.
The Otago Country team batted first with opener Scott Paulin reaching 52 before being undone buy Albion's Mark Craig. Sam Blakely got a handy 31 towards the end helping Otago Country to a score of 185. Blair Soper was the pick of the Dunedin bowlers with 3-35 off 9 overs.
Dunedin's reply was put under pressure by the early loss of Capatin, Hamish Rutherford but the hard hitting Mark Craig made short work of the total blasting 109 which included 7 sixes and 12 fours. Kaikorai's Geordie Scott aided the chase with a well supported and constructed 44. Otago County bowler Bradley Frost picked up 2-13 off his 3 overs.
Dunedin won the match by 5 wickets.
